Terms & Conditions

Valhalla Art Studio — Last updated: August,03, 2026

Before you publish: this replaces the duplicated/contradictory refund sections on your current page with one consistent policy, and adds clauses specific to running a tattoo studio (refusal of service, tattoo risks, aftercare, photo use, governing law, and a data-rights contact for India's DPDP Act). Fill in the one remaining bracketed placeholder, review the whole thing once, and it's ready to paste in as a Wix Rich Text page (or embed this file directly). This is not a substitute for review by a lawyer, particularly for the health/liability and data-privacy sections.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Valhalla Art Studio ("we," "us," "our," or the "Studio"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and your booking of tattoo, consultation, or related services with us. By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or receiving services from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Appointments

All appointments must be booked through our website or by contacting us directly. Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation by our team. A deposit may be required to secure your appointment; deposit terms are set out in Section 4 below.

3. Payments

Full payment for services is due at the time of your appointment, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, debit/credit cards, and online payments through our website. Prices for services are subject to change without notice for future bookings, but the price confirmed at the time you book will apply to that appointment.

4. Deposits, Cancellations & Rescheduling

A deposit may be required to confirm certain appointments. Deposits go toward the final cost of your session.

  • You may cancel or reschedule your appointment by contacting us at least 24 hours in advance, at no charge beyond forfeiting any deposit as described below.

  • Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or do not show up for your appointment.

  • If you cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice, your deposit will be carried forward and applied to your rescheduled appointment.

  • We reserve the right to charge a fee, up to the full amount of the scheduled service, for repeated no-shows or repeated late cancellations.

5. Refunds

Because our services involve time reserved specifically for you and, in many cases, custom artwork prepared in advance, refunds are limited to the following situations:

  • Studio-initiated cancellation: if we cancel or are unable to provide your appointment (for example, artist unavailability), you will receive a full refund of any deposit or payment made, or the option to reschedule at no additional cost — your choice.

  • Client cancellation with proper notice: if you cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment, your deposit is not refunded in cash but is carried forward to a rescheduled appointment as described in Section 4. If you would prefer a cash refund instead of rescheduling in this situation, refunds are processed within 7 working days to your original payment method.

  • Late cancellation or no-show: deposits and any amount already charged are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.

We do not offer exchanges or refunds for completed tattoo work; see Section 8 for why individual results can vary and what that means for you.

6. Age Requirement & ID Verification

You must be 18 years of age or older to receive tattoo services from us. We will request valid, government-issued photo identification before any tattoo procedure, and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who cannot provide it or who we reasonably believe is under 18.

7. Right to Refuse Service

For your safety and ours, we reserve the right to refuse or postpone service to anyone who:

  • appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs;

  • is unable to provide valid ID or give informed consent;

  • has a skin condition, infection, or other health issue in the area to be tattooed that our artists reasonably believe makes the procedure unsafe;

  • is pregnant or breastfeeding (as a standard safety precaution); or

  • otherwise behaves in a manner that our staff reasonably believe puts themselves, our team, or other clients at risk.

Refusal of service under this section does not entitle you to a refund of any deposit already forfeited under Section 4 or 5.

8. Tattoo Consent, Risks & Aftercare

Before any tattoo procedure, you will be required to complete our separate Tattoo Consent Form and Tattoo Questionnaire, which are incorporated into and form part of these Terms. By booking a tattoo appointment, you agree to complete these forms accurately and honestly, including full disclosure of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or medications.

You understand and acknowledge that:

  • tattoos are permanent and generally cannot be fully removed;

  • healing, color retention, and fading vary between individuals based on skin type, aftercare, sun exposure, and other factors outside our control;

  • the final healed result may differ somewhat from reference images, stencils, or digital previews; and

  • you are responsible for following the aftercare instructions we provide, and that failing to do so may affect healing and results.

9. Health and Safety

Your health and safety are a priority for us. We maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards and use only single-use, disposable equipment where applicable. You must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that may affect your ability to safely receive tattoo services, before your appointment begins.

10. Photos & Portfolio Use

We may photograph your tattoo (before, during, or after healing) for our portfolio, website, or social media (including our Gallery page and Instagram). By receiving services from us, you consent to this use unless you tell us in writing, before your appointment, that you would prefer we not photograph or feature your work. We will not use photos that identify you personally (e.g., showing your face) without your separate, specific consent.

11. Copyright

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Valhalla Art Studio and may not be used or reproduced without our express written permission. Custom tattoo designs created for a specific client remain our intellectual property as the artwork; the client's license is to wear the tattoo, not to reproduce, sell, or license the design artwork itself for other commercial use without our permission.

12. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided with reasonable skill and care, but tattooing carries inherent risks (including but not limited to allergic reaction, infection, and variation in healing) that cannot be entirely eliminated even with proper technique and aftercare. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Valhalla Art Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our services, website, or content, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason, as further described in Section 7.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Valhalla Art Studio and its artists and staff from any claim, liability, loss, or expense arising from your failure to disclose relevant health information, your failure to follow aftercare instructions, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer protection right you have under Indian law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

15. Privacy Policy

Valhalla Art Studio is committed to protecting your privacy. This section explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page, and we encourage you to review it periodically.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
